The Wing-Scuffle Spectacular, Chalkwell Park
The Revel Puck Circus returns to Chalkwell Park, back after April's run, with its heated big top pitched for the whole of half term, 23 October to 1 November 2026.
- The story: a brand-new troupe puts on its first circus and nobody is ready. Every character faces their fear, and the high-flying consequences follow.
- The acts: the world's only Giant Rola Bola, teeterboard acrobatics and a swinging chainsaw escape.
- The gong: Theatre Weekly's Best Circus, Edinburgh Fringe 2026.
- The tent: heated, seated, animal-free, with a few spooky surprises on site. All ages.
Pair it with the rest of the day
- Big top first, then the beach. Chalkwell Park sits right above the seafront.
- Leigh Old Town is along the front: chips, cockle sheds and a wander.
- If the weather turns, Southend's usual half term staples (the pier, Adventure Island, Sea Life Adventure) are a short hop along the line.
