The beer garden

Heated, walled and open to everyone.

Walthamstow Town Square, 3 December to 3 January

A walled stretch tent with heaters, festoon lights and a bar at one end: a cider pop-up from Real Al, a Signature Brew pop-up bar, Chapel Down wine, mulled wine and cider, hot dogs and East London food trucks. Come for a show, or just come for a drink.

At the bar

Real Al and Signature Brew

Two Walthamstow neighbours behind the bar. Proper cider from Real Al on their pop-up bar, and beer from Signature Brew, the Walthamstow brewery. Lagers, pales, ciders and whatever they are proudest of that week.

Chapel Down

English wine from Chapel Down in Kent. Sparkling for the occasions, still white and red for the rest, by the glass or the bottle.

Mulled wine and mulled cider

Hot, spiced and poured all season. Plus hot chocolate, teas and coffees, and soft drinks for the designated grown-up and the kids.

Something to eat

Hot dogs from the Revel Puck kitchen, done properly, and a rotating line-up of East London food trucks parked up beside the tent.

The trucks change through the season, so there is always something new, and there are always vegetarian and vegan options. Eat in the warm, or take it to your seat: food and drink are welcome in the big top during the show.
