10% of all tickets are £3 for low-income families, to knock down the financial barrier to great arts and culture.

The Revel Puck Circus is a not-for-profit contemporary circus company from Newham, East London. We tour in a big top so we can pitch up in the middle of a community rather than wait for people to travel to a theatre. Community tickets are the other half of that idea: the tent should feel like a true cross-section of wherever we land, including people who might not usually have regular access to theatre or live performance.

£3 tickets are limited, and once they are gone, they are gone.

Who are £3 tickets for?

Low-income families and anyone who would benefit from a lower-cost option. We do not ask for proof. It is a no-questions-asked policy: we trust you to pick the ticket type that is right for you.

Why we do this

Two things keep people away from the arts: where it is and what it costs. Touring in a big top deals with the first. £3 tickets deal with the second.

Why tickets cost what they cost

A big top production takes around 20 people on the road, plus crew and local support. External funding covers roughly 20% of our turnover, so the other 80% has to come from ticket sales and the bar. Our top ticket price is £30, with all fees included. The UK theatre average in 2023 was £35.20 plus booking fees (The Stage ticketing survey).
